Is the earth a negative world for you?
Everyone is lonely and works to forget the loneliness. They make themselves busy and complain about business.
The King is a contradictory person because he seems to be knowledgeable and he wants to be reasonable king, but he can’t follow his words.
The author has a negative view of this world. He wants to argue social issues through his imaginary planet to compare with the earth. Every character represents people on earth. The Little Prince iss disappointed at them. We think the Little Prince is visible only for the person who lost child mind. Therefore, losing child mind makes people lonely.

My answer is No! I know there are some kinds of people like these characters in the earth. However, these people is not everything in the earth. Sometimes, these characters defeat the honest people like the little prince in business. However, I wanna believe that honest people will win at last. There is hope in the earth!

May 26th, 2008 at 10:32 amI HOPE the Earth is not a negative world for us/me. We shouldn’t make children feel disappointed to an adult world. I want children to have will or hope for their future so the earth should be beautiful thing!
I can follow Yuki and Ayumi’s opinions.
May 28th, 2008 at 1:02 amI like the Earth. It is beautiful planet. There are various life beings. This world really attract me.
I love humans, animals, and FOODs the most in this world!
I agree with three friends’ opinions. Certainly, unreasonable, rude, cold and haugty people exist in the world, but they are part of it. In my opinion, the earth is a place where we all seek for something important or dream.
May 28th, 2008 at 11:30 pmI don’t think so too. Surely there are a lot of problems on the earth, for example, groval warming, war or dispute and about diplomatic relation. However all of them are acted by human beings so if each of us change our mind, the earth become much better and I think we should do that.
May 29th, 2008 at 11:43 amI can’t decide which earth is negative world for me or not. I work at Keihan department store and couple of days ago I faced the adults world. It was a little bit complicated affair so I can’t explain it hear. Anyway from this experience I thought the time will be waiting that we face the adult’s world. If we hope or not we have to confront of it.
May 29th, 2008 at 11:54 amI think that whether this world is negative or not is up to people.
May 30th, 2008 at 6:42 pmFor me, accutually, the world is very comfortable because I can eat, drink, talk, go to school, and really enjoy my life.
On the other hand, when I see the world such as documentary TV program, I realize that there are many needy or refugees.
I think it is serious problem which has not solove for a long time.
To consider it, I think this world is very negative, but in my daily life, I forget these issue and feel happy.
I don’t think so. Actually, there are some disappointed things on the earth. on the other hand, there are a lot of things to learn from human, animals, nature, and so on. Someday, the day we have to meet adult ourself will come, so we must have will and think in positive everything.
May 30th, 2008 at 10:48 pmEarth has negative points which make people on the earth speculate, learn, and mature. I think it is hard or impossible for earth to be a perfect world the little prince imagined, because there are so many people on the earth who have different charactes, life style, and amount of money. From these differences many problems happen in every countries and people try hard to think and solve these problems. It might be great if all the people on the earth were good as well as the little prince, but the people would not learn anything important.
June 1st, 2008 at 7:19 pmDear Kento, Satomi, Shiho, Keiko, and Takayuki,
You mentioned that the Little Prince is visible only for the person who lost a child’s mind. It’s so interesting to think that each book interpretation leads to a totally view of it. Reading a book is certainly a very subjective act. While I was rereading it, I had a different view…
Wasn’t the little prince trying to show you the nonsense we sometimes make of our adult world? Wasn’t the pilot showing this child view of the world so that we, adults, could see how we just don’t see the beauty around us and what surrounds us, what really matters in life?
My world is totally positive. I believe in the power of friendship and true connections. I believe in the power of people coming together to help others. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be an educator, right? How about you? What do you believe in?
I’d love to know more.
