In preparation for writing a review of The Little Prince Opera, let’s practice writing a recommendation for a movie. In your comment, please tell us the name of the movie, evaluate the movie on a couple of criteria, and tell whether or not you recommend the movie. Here is my example.
I recommend the movie Chocolat because the setting, plot, and cast are excellent. This movie is set in a small, conservative village in France. In the movie, a woman and her daughter open a chocolate shop and face some difficulties in winning over the residents of the village. Johnny Depp, Juliette Binoche, and Judi Dench star in this movie. This movie is based on the book, Chocolat by Joanne Harris, who is one of my favorite authors. If you are interested in France or the drama of human relationships, then you should watch Chocolat.

I recommend the movie Green Mile because of the plot, cast, and impression. This is one of the human drama. At the beggining of the story, an old man recollected the time when he was working as a prison guard. When he was young, a big man was sent to the jail despite innocent. He brought about many miracles. The miracles moved human’s mind. The main character, a prison guard, is Tom Hanks, who is a famous actor. We can see kindness of people from this story and we are impressed deeply. If you like to be impressed by drama, you should watch Greem Mile.
May 31st, 2008 at 11:31 pmI’d like to recommend the movie, RAMBO, which has a great main chaacter and tells us the actual circumstances of Myanmar. This movie made me frightened because of its cruelness, but I had my favorite scene in this movie.
June 3rd, 2008 at 1:28 amSylvester Stallone plays as a main character, John Rambo. He is really quiet, but called the strongest one-man army. He bravely fought with the slaughterous army which had killed a lot of innocent Myanmarese. I really like his character.
Through this movie we can know how cruel and horrible condition of Myanmar was or is. People are really poor and the terrible army destroyed them randomly with land mines and guns.
Let me tell you my favorite scene. John has only five men to fight with the slaughterous army which has many soliers to help Myanmarese. John’s five supporters insist that it is too dangerous to fight with the army and they try to give up with the fight. Then John just said to them that it is up to you whether you keep living for nothing or dying for something. By this words John and five of them stand up to the fight for Myanmarese. I was moved by John’s words.
This movie is really cruel, but it will stimulate you to speculate our world.
I recommend Japanese movie, a series of Always, because we can learn many things from plots, character’s actions and their customs of this movie. This movie is set in the Syouwa period, and also in the middle of the term of rapid economic growth. Many people have the hope and dreams,and it is important for them to cooperate with people.

Recentry, I watched The pianist which has Japanese title,The pianist of battlefield. This movie is warth watching, because character’s act has big impress and serious setting is important to learn. The setting is era under the Nazis which has fearful reader, Adolf Hitler. The Nazis invaded Poland, Warszawa,the capital of Poland lay in ruins. Through this battle, one pianist,Szpilman survived. This story is non-fiction.
June 4th, 2008 at 9:51 pmWe will see holocaust with our own eyes. A lot of Jewish killed without reason. These seen is really scarey, but I couldn’t cry because it was too scarey and I can’t understand why Jewish killed without reason. German and Jewish are all human. There is no diversity between them. Szpilman also lost his all family, but he helped Datch police. May be he is so famous pianist, so he was helped.
My favorite seen is last seen, the battle was almost finished.He was found by Datch soldier. My heart flutterd, because Szpilman was likely to be killed. The soldier orderd him to play the piano. He was already weak, but he played the piano enthusiastically. I was so impressed by his playing. The Datch soldier was also impressed and he protected Szpilman untill the battle finished. He was really nice man. All Datch are not cruel. This soldier is also victim of the Nazis.
This movie is very scary, but we can learn about history around the wwⅡ and there was a small heartfelt drama during the battle.
I recommend to you the movie of “Cool Runnings” because casts, plot, impression and description are very attracting. This is a story in Jamaica. Derice, who was one of the main character and good-looking, participated in 100 metre competition to enter the Olympic, but he was involved in a fall, he couldn’t win. He collected three men and decided to enter the Olympic as a bobsleigh team. They chose Irv, who was also one of the main characters, as a coach. But because he once did somthing illegal, their team was disliked. In the Olympic, although their sled stopped on the way, they carried it and reached the goal. I learned from this movie it was more important to achieve one thing together than to win the first prize. In addition, the discription of the last scene was moving and stimulative, so I recommend this movie.

This story is about the love which happened between a man(Charlie;he is a simple policeman) and a woman(Yvonne;she is a waitress). This story was made based on the story that there was in New York. A policeman(Charlie) had no tip which he gave to a waitress(Yvonsne), so he gave to her his lottery ticket and he said that “If this lottery is success I give you the half of money as tip.” After that the story began! The ticket was really success, and he got much money. This money made trouble between Charile and his wife(Muriel). If I tell about more I cannot sum up, but at last the story end and they got happiness. If you want to know the whole story, you can see it!
June 5th, 2008 at 12:12 pmI also like the pictures of many scene. The plot is easy to understand so you can see without thinking deeply or inderstanding exactly. This story made me warm. So I recommend it.
I’d like to recomend the movie which named KID.
This movie is very old but it is so good!!!
This main cast is Charlie Chaplin.
I like Chaplin very much.
In the movie, there are no voice, just few word appeared on screen and there is moving back ground music.
Although there is no voice, I moved Chaolin’s performances.
He is a great actor.
I think it doesn’t matter for him that scene is sad or fanny.
He performed any situation.
I really recomend the movies which Chaplin act main charctor especially, KID.
